Meet Our Youngest Global Sailor!
He’s now the youngest person to sail alone around the world!!
That was Zac Sunderland’s goal when he set out from Marina del Rey, CA. 13 months ago.
And, he did it!!
His family and hundreds of fans were back at Marina del Rey to welcome him back (July 17th).
He was sixteen when he set out, spent almost 400 days at sea and was 17 when he returned!
He beat a record held by Australia’s Jesse Martin, who was 18 when he finished his trip in 1999.
