Who is she?

Rachita Dati, French justice minister.

She was spotted going out of the maternity clinic (Jan. 7) with her baby born Zohra.

What’s so controversial?

Nobody knows who the father is!

Rumors say that the father could be Francois H. Pinault.

Wait a minute, isn’t that the guy that knocked up Salma Hayek?

This is getting better than a Spanish soap!

But, according to the sun.co.uk, he denies it:

A spokesman for Francois-Henri Pinault, who headed a list of possible fathers, said: “It’s absurd. The rumour is not true. We deny it totally.”

Justice Minister Dati, 43, an unmarried Muslim, sparked feverish speculation after having daughter Zohra two weeks ago.

She hinted the father was Pinault, the 46-year-old chief exec of PPR, which owns fashion group Gucci. He had a baby girl with actress Salma Hayek two years ago.

Several top names were touted as Zohra’s dad, including French President Nicolas Sarkozy after reports of an affair in 2007. He denies the claim.

So, the question remains - who Diti, Dati?

The French are all in a dither about it.

We American might have to step in and solve this the good old fashioned American way - Jerry Springer!
