JESSICA SIMPSON & TONY ROMO - SPIRITUALLY CONNECTED?
Jessica Simpson says she and Tony are “spiritually connected”.
That’s got to be a good thing!
But apparently, her luck with men hasn’t always been so rewarding.
She’s opening up about the string of exes who helped inspire her latest country album.
Here’s what the New York Daily News has her saying:
“I was going through a lot of pain,” Simpson told Elle magazine about the period after her split from Nick Lachey in 2005. “I didn’t try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual.”
She also reveals that “Remember That,” a song about an abusive relationship, which appears on her new album, “Do You Know,” was a result of her own experiences.
“I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run,” she said of an unnamed ex.
She also appears to have no hard feelings about her one-year relationship with John Mayer, 30, who’s now dating Jennifer Aniston.
“John believed in the Jessica Simpson that’s within,” the 28-year-old songstress said. “He cherished our love. He helped make me the woman I am today. John is going to be an amazing man for someone, but I know that I was supposed to be with someone else.”
Wow, I guess country music is bringing it all out!
