The birthday girl is Kate Beckinsale who celebrated her 35th birthday at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills with some of her close celebrity friends.

Meanwhile, it was just announced that the Kate Beckinsale starring thriller “Whiteout” is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 24, 2009.

The movie is based on a novel by Greg Rucka and tells the story of “Carrie Stetko” (played by Kate) who is a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica whose investigation of the continent’s first murder draws her into a shocking mystery.

Now, if we can just unravel the mystery as to why Victoria always looks pissed!
