I guess the premiere of the Sex and the City movie was a fiasco.
Apparently 2,000 ticket holders were turned away.
Here’s what the UK Telegraph is saying:
Fans had traveled from as far afield as Singapore and many had spent thousands of dollars to attend the red carpet event at Radio City Music Hall.
But they were left all dressed up with nowhere to go after organizers told them that the venue was too full and their tickets were worthless.
The unluckiest fan of all was Ella Sherman, a British writer living in Singapore who paid $19,000 to a travel company through eBay for a trip which promised tickets to the premiere and after-party, a shopping spree at Jimmy Choo and a meeting with the cast - but none of it materialised.
“It was supposed to be an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. But it’s a fiasco,” Sherman said.
Too bad, huh?
They should have asked “The Paps!”
