Apparently someone can say it because that’s the show David Hasselhoff attended in Berlin (Aug 29th).

He was accompanied by his daughters Taylor-Ann and Hayley Amber.

David’s got a huge following in Germany.

His huge popularity in the reunited country is partly due to his role in healing historical divisions.

In November 1989 just weeks after the fall of the Wall that divided the city for four decades, the American actor and singer united the two parts of Germany in song.

He played a concert amid the ruins, leading several hundreds and thousands of voices in belting out his tuneLooking for Freedom.

Number one for many weeks in Germany during that memorable year the song contains the lyrics: “I’ve been lookin’ for freedom; I’ve been lookin’ so long; I’ve been lookin’ for freedom; still the search goes on”.

This week, with their father, on hand, his girls had a very knowledgeable guide about those feverish times.

Actress Jessica Alba attended the ‘Machete’ photocall during the 67th Venice Film Festival at the Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy (Sept. 1st).

Due out in theaters on September 3, Jess recently said this about the film, “It’s exciting, for us as artists. Usually, we’re just entertaining and, most of the time, everything is just pure, commercial entertainment.”

Meanwhile, on the same day Natalie Portman attended the Opening Ceremony for Black Swan.

“Every film festival benefits hugely from a strong opening film, and they don’t come a lot stronger than Black Swan,” wrote David Gritten in Britain’s Daily Telegraph.

“Powerful, gripping and always intriguing, it also features a lead performance from Natalie Portman that elevates her from a substantial leading actress to major star likely to be lifting awards in the near future.”

Who loves short, shorts?

Apparently, Miley Cyrus!

The “Hannah Montana” hottie sported short-shorts and heavy makeup while out with a few gal pals reportedly en route to meet-up with Justin Bieber at Madison Square Garden (Aug 31st).

As for film work, Miley just finished shooting “”LOL: Laughing Out Loud” in Detroit with the crew now headed to the next filming locale, Chicago.

The movie is a remake of a French flick and co-stars Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Sometimes you’ve got to grin and bare it!

The actress, with no make up and her right hand in a cast, arrived with her husband at Los Angeles International Airport (Aug 28th).

Brooke broke her hand during rehearsals for a musical she’ll be starring in next month.

The musical is called “Leap of Faith.”

Brooke fans can look forward to an Oct. 3rd opening at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles!

Ever been so proud of your haircut you had to share it?

That seems to have been the case with Mickey Rourke as he was spotted looking almost completely bald while out strolling with his girlfriend in the Meatpacking District.

They stopped at a local restaurant to get some take out with chopsticks (Aug 28th).

And, to prove she’s down with the new cut - a little forehead kiss!

It appeared the High School Musical star was at fault when she got herself involved in a minor car accident at a CVS pharmacy parking lot in Studio City, CA. (Sept 1).

We’re told the Vanessa and the man have exchanged information and no police authorities were called to the scene of the accident.

A little Paris promotion!

Katy Perry was spotted leaving her hotel room to do a little french radio in promotion of her new album (Aug 31).

She had lunch at the “Jules Vernes” restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower!

And, why not!

Perry grabbed hold of the Number One spot on the Billboard 200 as her second album, Teenage Dream, sold 192,000 copies in its debut week.
